What do we do?

The emphasis for the third day is hands-on practice with the new NST sessions. If possible, you might chose to visit a functioning training center and facilitate one of the lessons with actual New Staff.

This gives the Trainers the opportunity to see some of the new paradigms in action – small, interactive group learning rather than lecture format, shared leadership in teaching – while also becoming familiar with  new session materials from the sample curriculum.

You could also accomplish this purpose by having the Trainers teach each other a session or facilitate a  small group, so that they get to know the new materials and get practice with an interactive teaching style.
