We&#8217;ve reached the final post of the series.<\/p>\n<p>While LDHR might not always have as many one-on-one recruiting conversation opportunities, it often leads many other activities vital to effective recruitment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>National recruiting events<\/strong> &#8211; LDHR is often there to organize, host, administer, and assist with ministry-wide recruitment evenings, days, or weekends (e.g., Life Investment or Life Objective Seminars), maximizing the investment of individual ministries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Coordinate the national recruitment process<\/strong> &#8211; LDHR also often leads in setting the timetable, coordinating the activities, ensuring the delivery of training and materials, and encouraging the staff in their efforts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Track the national recruitment process<\/strong> &#8211; LDHR can help by tracking and measuring progress, identifying gaps, reviewing efforts and initiatives, and identifying lessons learned for the next year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Survey New Staff<\/strong> &#8211; to learn about how they experienced the recruiting and application process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Connecting and being available<\/strong> &#8211; Recruitment is about relationships. Being available to talk with potential applicants, their parents, potential supporting churches, and others involved brings the relational nature of our ministry alive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These elements of the recruitment process will usually also require help from others. Remember the first principle from this series: <strong>everyone has a part in recruiting<\/strong>.
