Recruitment is an issue for us all, but recruiting for specific roles that require experience often seems an unsolvable problem: You don\u2019t currently have the skills or capacity in your country, and finding someone to join staff to do the role is both difficult and requires a long lead time.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, you may also have staff who need a new challenge and they\u2019d like an overseas assignment, but you don\u2019t know how to start helping them explore possibilities.<\/p>\n
We may just have the solution to both of these issues in one place.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n wherenext.org<\/a> is the new Global Job Board. Accessible to all our staff members globally, via the familiar Okta login it is a place where you as LDHR leaders can post roles that are hard to fill, that could be undertaken by an expatriate moving to your country (you\u2019ll want to check out some of the visa or other restrictions there may be before you make it publicly available to all!) or possibly even a role that could be done virtually. If you posted roles on the old \u201cNational Opportunities\u201d job board, you should be able to post new roles straight away. If you\u2019re new to this, just click to become a contributor, and the LDHR Llama will set you up in a flash.<\/p>\n Likewise, as you talk to staff who are looking for a new opportunity, this is a great place to point them towards<\/strong> to see what the current needs are around the world that may be just the thing they are looking for as they seek the Lord as to where He would have them serve next.<\/p>\n The site<\/a> is easy to navigate, with the ability to search by geography or ministry area (or both!) to see what opportunities are available. For you as an LDHR leader, you can post the details of the role, add links to Job Descriptions and other details, attach a graphic (or have the site add your national flag automatically), and even post a short video telling the wonders of your national ministry or the role. It\u2019s time to let your creativity flow!<\/p>\n There are already many roles on the site, but from here, it\u2019s up to you.
